Janika was born and raised in Memphis. She is passionate about vigorously serving the people of the city she loves. She is a lawyer who handles civil and criminal cases in state and federal court. She takes pride in ensuring people get the help they need. 

She graduated from Central High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she earned a B.A. in English with a minor in Business Administration. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville. Following law school, Janika served as a judicial law clerk to then-Chancellor Kenny Armstrong of the Shelby County Chancery Court. She went on to clerk for the Honorable Bernice Bouie Donald, who at the time was a United States District Judge for the Western District of Tennessee.  

She is a member of the Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association, the Memphis Bar Association, the Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inn of Court, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She also serves on the board of Bloomfield Urban Ministries and EcOp.

Darrick is a native Memphian and is the founder of PS&S Systems and Services. Darrick earned his Bachelors of Sciences Degree from Southern Illinois University, holds a Master of Sciences Degree from the School of Engineering at the University of Arkansas, and is currently completing his Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Virginia University. Dee is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi and has over 25 years of community relations and political consulting experience. Dee has provided clients with data analytics research and polling services for political campaigns and has worked with government and private companies alike. Dee has served on many local boards and committees to improve community health, workforce development, and economic opportunities for underserved communities. Most recently he was the consultant that completed the redistricting plan for Shelby County.

Rev Bobby R. Hawkins Sr is the Pastor of Greater Faith Church of  

Deliverance in Memphis, TN. He a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church.  

Rev Hawkins believes in reaching people for God right where they are.  

He believes in seeing others at eye level and showing them how to live their  

life on purpose!  

Rev Hawkins is the owner and instructor of Genesis Black Belt Academy on 

949 East Brooks Road where he teaches Taekwondo. He holds the rank of  

8th Degree Black Belt with the title of Chief Master Instructor.  Rev Hawkins’ motto is, “Treat me like I treat you!” Rev Hawkins is the owner and inventor of “The Hawkeye” car safety device and “The Cover One” head-phones.
